This app provides access to high-definition marine charts for various locations including the USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, Germany, Netherlands/Holland, and Europe Rivers (Danube, Drava, Rhein, etc). The app offers coverage of NOAA marine vector charts, freshwater lake maps, USACE inland river maps (with HD/1ft/3ft bathymetry where available), and charts derived from UKHO & CHS data. It is the first marine GPS app to include route assistance with voice prompts for marine navigation. Users can create new boating routes or import existing GPX/KML routes. The app supports the Nautical Charts course up orientation and also includes tide and currents prediction.

- Beautiful and detailed hardware/GPU accelerated vector charts (text stays upright on rotation)
- Long press to query the details of marine objects (buoys, lights, obstructions, etc)
- Customizable depth (ft/fathom/meter) and distance units (km/mi/NM)
- Customizable shallow depth
- Record tracks and auto-follow with real-time track overlay and predicted path vector
- Voice prompts for marine navigation (requires GPS)
- 1ft / 3ft depth contour maps for anglers for select lake maps
- Supports GPX/KML for boating route editing/import
- Tide and currents prediction
- Seamless chart quilting of marine charts
- Enter or import waypoints

Maps:
The app includes unlimited updates for one year. The maps provide coverage as follows:
- USA: Coverage includes all NOAA marine vector charts (ENC), USACE inland river maps, and freshwater lake maps for over 7K lakes. The charts include HD/1ft/3ft bathymetry where available and also include NOAA raster where ENC is not available.
- Canada: Coverage includes CHS data (including major lakes).
- UK/Ireland: Derived from UKHO charts.
- Australia
- Germany: Derived from BSH data.
- Europe Inland Rivers: Donau/Dunaja, Rhine, Garonne, Moselle, Drava, Sava, etc.

Route Management / Trip Planning:
- Create new routes or edit existing routes
- Move points on the route
- Add points to an existing route leg
- Delete or rename points on the route

- Share or export routes, tracks, and markers
- Reverse routes

GPS Features:
- Auto follow mode with real-time track overlay and predicted path vector
- Course up orientation (text stays upright)
- Speed and heading information
- Route assistance with voice prompts:
  - Prompts when approaching a boating route marker
  - Continuous distance and estimated time of arrival updates
  - Alerts when sailing/boating off route or in the wrong direction
- Record tracks

Tide & Currents:
Tide and currents information is available for the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and New Zealand. It includes high/low tides, tidal current predictions, and active current stations.

Sharing:
Users can share tracks, routes, and markers on Facebook and Twitter. They can also export tracks, routes, and markers as compressed GPX files.

Please note: Running the GPS in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
